Pasadena City Council will consider Monday, May 24th, whether to extend the deadline for the cannabis deal and obtain a permit to do business in the city.
The deadline originally set for June 5th is important for retailers looking to do business in a specific part of the city but not within the restricted city limits. But the city council can relax these rules.
The city council has postponed the zone change hearing and the city council is now able to extend the deadline for an additional seven months. Authorities also said the effects of COVID-19 were making it difficult for city officials to do business and needed an extension.
