Utah Therapeutic Health Center’s Tim Pickett named Utah’s Best Medical Cannabis Doctor

Salt Lake City Weekly readers voted Tim Pickett, founder of the Utah Therapeutic Health Center, the state’s Best Medical Cannabis Doctor (QMP).

“I’m so happy to be recognized, but more importantly, I’m just happy that people are recognizing Medical Marijuana as a legitimate medicine. We’re making progress and we still have a long way to go, ”says Pickett.

The newspaper announced in its June 16 “Best of Utah” edition of Mind and Body its reader selection for the best health care providers, fitness trainers and other health professionals in the state. More than 2,100 readers took part in the vote.

Pickett and Lake are both licensed as Qualified Medical Providers in Utah, which entitles them to recommend cannabis for patients with qualifying medical conditions.

UTTHC serves medical cannabis patients at its clinics in Salt Lake City, Ogden, Provo, Millcreek and Bountiful. A sixth clinic will open in Cedar City in early August.
